What is GigWorkersGuide?
GigWorkersGuide has two parts:
- Free platform directory — A curated list of dozens of gig platforms that actually pay (surveys, UX testing, data annotation, etc.)
- Paid dashboard ($4.99/month or $49.99/year) — Track your earnings across all platforms in one place
Is the platform directory really free?
Yes. Browse, bookmark, sign up for as many platforms as you want. No charge. Ever.
How much does the dashboard cost?
$4.99/month or $49.99/year (save ~17%). Cancel anytime. No long-term contracts.
🔒 Privacy & Data
Do you store my earnings data?
Yes.
When you upload a CSV or enter earnings manually, that data is saved to your account on our servers. That’s what makes the dashboard work — your history persists between sessions and devices.
Why do you store it?
- Persistence. So you don’t have to re-upload everything every time you open the dashboard.
- Accuracy. Server-side storage lets us compute correct totals across time periods reliably.
What do you do with my data?
Nothing except power your dashboard. We never sell it, never share it with third parties, and never use it for advertising or analytics.
Can I delete my data?
Yes — permanently. You can hard-delete individual transactions, entire platform histories, or your full account from your account settings. Hard delete means gone from our servers, not just hidden.
⚙️ Technical Questions
Which platforms support CSV export?
Only two right now: Prolific and CloudResearch. Most other platforms require manual entry.
How do I track platforms that don’t export data?
Two ways:
- Manual entry — Type in your current balance or latest earnings
- Paste from log page (coming soon) — Copy your earnings table from the platform’s dashboard, paste it into our tool, and we’ll parse it
Do you support [platform name]?
If it’s in our platform directory, yes — but the tracking method depends on whether the platform exports data.

How do I pay?
PayPal. Secure, recurring billing. Choose $4.99/month or $49.99/year — both include a 3-day free trial and auto-renew until you cancel.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Log into PayPal, cancel the subscription, and your access ends at the end of your billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
No refunds, but you can cancel anytime. If you cancel mid-period, you’ll still have access until the end of that billing period.
