Overview
GigWorkersGuide (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides two services:
- Free Platform Directory — A curated list of gig economy platforms
- Paid Gateway Dashboard — A subscription-based earnings tracker ($4.99/month)
By using our services, you agree to these terms.
The Free Directory
- Always free. No signup required.
- We provide affiliate links to platforms. If you sign up through our links, we may earn a commission at no cost to you.
- The directory is provided “as is.” We make no guarantees about platform availability, payout rates, or earning potential.
The Paid Dashboard
Subscription Terms:
- $4.99/month, recurring monthly
- Billed via PayPal on the same day each month
- Prepaid model: You pay for a month of access upfront
- No refunds, but you keep access until the end of your billing period
- Cancel anytime through PayPal
Access Rules:
- Subscriptions are per-user, not transferable
- You may use the dashboard on multiple devices, but not share your account
- If we detect account sharing or abuse, we may terminate your access without refund
What We Provide
The Gateway Dashboard is a tool, not a service.
- We provide software that runs in your browser to process and display your earnings data
- We do not scrape data from platforms on your behalf
- We do not guarantee compatibility with every gig platform
- We do not guarantee uptime, though we aim for 99%+ availability
Data Processing:
- Your earnings entries and CSV imports are stored in your account so the dashboard can aggregate and display your totals across devices.
- We don’t scrape platforms on your behalf — you provide your own data.
- You can delete your data at any time (per-entry, per-platform, or full account). See our Privacy Policy.
- You’re responsible for keeping your own authoritative records; we’re a tracking tool, not a system of record.
- We store your earnings data on our servers so the product works across devices. We never sell it and every delete in the app is a real, permanent delete forever (and no we can’t get it back, so be careful but you can always just reload your CSV or manual entry data to get it all back online.)
- You are responsible for maintaining your own records
User Responsibilities
- Accurate Information: You’re responsible for uploading correct data
- Account Security: Keep your password secure. We’re not liable for unauthorized access due to weak passwords or shared credentials
- Tax Compliance: Our dashboard is a tracking tool, not tax software. You’re responsible for your own tax reporting
- Prohibited Use: No scraping, reverse engineering, or automated abuse of our service
Cancellation & Termination
You can cancel anytime:
- Log into PayPal and cancel the subscription
- You’ll keep access until the end of your current billing period
- No refunds for partial months
We can terminate your access if:
- You violate these terms
- Your payment fails (you can resubscribe to regain access)
- We discontinue the service (with 30 days notice and prorated refund)
Disclaimers & Limitations
No Warranties:
- The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
- We don’t guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose
- We’re not responsible for lost income due to service outages or data processing errors
Limitation of Liability:
- Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (max $59.88)
- We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Affiliate Disclosure
Our platform directory contains affiliate links. If you sign up for a platform through our link, we may earn a commission. This doesn’t affect your signup experience or earnings on those platforms.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Tennessee, USA. Disputes will be resolved in Nashville, TN courts.
